Rutgers–Livingston Day Care Center is a private, not for profit early childhood program in Piscataway, NJ, serving the Rutgers University community since 1974.

Our center supports families as they pursue education and career goals, by providing an exemplary early care and education program where children are safe, nurtured, and challenged with developmentally appropriate curriculum, intentionally designed to foster social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.

Since 1985, the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s voluntary accreditation system has set professional standards for early childhood education programs, and helped families identify high-quality programs for their young children. Rutgers-Livingston is proud to be the first early childhood program to earn this distinction, in New Jersey and nationally!
"They were the best years of my life!" This is how my son Jack, describes his years at RLDCC. And his parents agree. Far away from our homeland of Australia, RLDCC became our family, no issue was too big or too small and the staff were always there to listen and to care. As an associate professor in early childhood education who sees many child care and preschool programs, RLDCC is one of the highest quality educational settings I have seen.
- Sharon Ryan, Associate Professor Rutgers Graduate School of Education
